Program Overview

Applications Not Available - 2017-18 Applications available in May

The 2016-2017 Valley Partnership Advocates Class will have an unprecedented exposure to, and understanding of the entire process for building a large scale, master-planned community.

The class of 25 current members of Valley Partnership who are 35 years of age or younger will have first-hand access to learning how a master-planned community is built about linking them to the best professionals in the industry.

Beginning in September 2016 and through June 2017, the curriculum will include what a developer considers in identifying viable land, assemblage and acquisition, working with government entities on zoning entitlements, financing, buyer research, land planning, architecture, interior space planning and design, home building, branding and project marketing, and how it all fits together in our new economy.

This year’s program will be led by Valley Partnership Board of Director, Tim Brislin of Harvard Investments and will include direct involvement by all of the Board of Directors, Valley Partnership sponsors such as SRP, and key leaders such as the Mayors of Phoenix, Mesa, Goodyear, and Tempe. Meet and discuss current projects with the developers and consultant teams.

The total cost of the program is $350.  Payment is made after the Class is selected and announced.

For any questions about this exclusive program please contact Valley Partnership at 602.266.7844 or cmartin@valleypartnership.org.
