All Aboard! The Future of Public Transit in the Valley

Since the critical passages of Proposition 400 in 2004 and Prop 104 in 2015, the Valley's public transportation system has evolved to meet the demands of booming population growth and unprecedented economic development. As a result of these measures, it has attracted both new development to the region and energetic debate over what the future holds for this mode of public transit.

As the light rail enters its 10th year of operation, business, transportation and real estate leaders are now planning out where it will head next.  However, with multiple ballot measures in front of Phoenix voters in the upcoming August election, the future of real estate, development, and investments from the public sector will be tremendously impacted based on how Phoenicians decide to vote and how it will impact a prospective Proposition 500 effort for the Valley.

Our July Friday Morning Breakfast will provide an opportunity for guests to hear directly from the leaders working on a future vision for public transit in the Valley and how that will increase and attract responsible development. Moderated by Valley Metro CEO Scott Smith and featuring high-profile transportation leaders, you won't want to miss this discussion of where the Valley's regional transit system will take us into the future.
